Hi, I just realized I bought the wrong version in pre-order in order to get early access. I would like to upgrade my version of the game to the X-Factor edition on XBox series X. Is there any way to do it or do I have to buy the game again?

If you bought the game digitally from the Microsoft Xbox store then you will have to go to the Xbox website then click on your profile int he top right area. Then click on My Microsoft Account. At the very top go to Payment and Billing. Then find NHL you reserved and click on Show details and from there you should see Order Help. That should be able to help you.
You could also try to talk to a person online by searching in a browser. Xbox live support chat and it should lead you to where you want to go.
