Does vision control disable hitting in the offensive zone?

Trying to throw a weak hit rather than attempting to bang in rebounds was remarkably frustrating to me in the community test as penalties taken in these situations decided a few games. Like the title...

Hey, everyone. I don't have any news on this. I've relayed the feedback to the team, but we'll have to wait and see if this changes.

Thank you, I appreciate it.

I've been playing EA NHL since the Genesis and I used to be a moderator here about a decade ago, it would make me very sad to lose virtual hockey with all the other new features taking the game in what appears to be a good direction.
