Community ManagerMcDavid skated in a straight line and then turned. This slows you down. There also is a slight penalty to speed for carrying the puck. The defender is skating in a straight line. As mentioned, X-Factors can make a difference as well.
@EA_AljoYou are serious Aljo ? He turn around and start skates from scratch, even if he has some synregy activated, he has maximum 93 speed or 93 acc other point, his card was Winternational, this card hasnt synergy to speed or acceleration, it wasnt Xfactor Seth Jones. So once again Seth Jones 89 - Winternational Edition, he managed to turn around and still be faster then 99 speed and acceleration McDavid, even McDavid was already in sprint. But i expect answer like this and its so ridiculous, that you won't admit this is really weird... You always say, i just hear how slower player is faster then some higher rated card and when i give you prove, you start complaining with this....So in the end, it doesnt matter, how many proves we will give you. Just simply admit that your game is broken. As you wrote in some topics, you dont even know, how to repair a lot of bugs in this game, because code is overloaded and your devs cant find the problem.

Jones starts off with a step on McDavid. He keeps skating in a straight line and gets up to speed. McDavid turns so he loses a step here. He then needs to take a few strides to get up to speed. Even with his acceleration being higher, this doesn't immediately happen on the first stride. By the time he gets to that state, he has to turn again which loses the speed. Jones is skating towards McDavid. He's skating at an angle that crosses McDavid, which then forces the turn I mentioned previously.
You'll need to get a video of these 2 players starting from a stand still at the same spot, with full energy, showing Jones outskating McDavid in a straight line for there to be an issue to investigate.
@EA_AljoMaaan halooo, he has 8 less points to speed and acceleration then McDavid....8 points....i just consider, how you cant see that paradox...I wouldn't say anything if it was like 3-5 points, but 8 ? Really ? It's the same nonsense as if you said, F2 will be faster then F1 because he start from the straight and F1 start from the corner.....this is just no logical and total nonsense for everyone who understand that a little bit..

If McDavid hadn't turned, you would have seen him accelerate more. The turn is the main thing that killed his speed. You also can't discount the larger stride from Jones.
Look, I get what you're saying, but there are other variables here causing this to happen. Hopefully, we can agree to disagree.
@EA_AljoMcDavid best skater in NHL for century. Did you ever watch his movement skills IRL ? And you still comparing to Jones ? Its like comparing driving skills of Verstappen and Hulkenberg :D If you still dont see how absurd this is, i think that this is last thing what i need to know, to finally quit this game and never buy it again, because this is really too much, compare McDavid to average Seth Jones and even McDavid has almost +10 points more then Jones......extreme
