Community ManagerI don't mind bringing back hybrid since that is an accessibility issue. I just hate going up against teams that only care about hitting. It's just frustrating and annoying as I just don't feel like that's an authentic way to play.

@EA_AljoBingo. It was worse in NHL23 before the overall change to the hitting engine in 24, but the hitting thing remains an issue. In EASHL when our team (we usually play 5v5, cpu goalies) is matched against a team of 3 or more big guys with truculence, we just back out before the game kicks off. We've played too many frustrating games where its a hit fest, pace of play is slowed to a crawl with all the calls. Win or lose it was just aggravating so now we just avoid that and are better off.
I think you had to roll back the hitting change as it seemed to have been an overcorrection but my hope is you guys find a middle ground between the change and reverted status.
