When you buy a hockey game, you expect the game to play and feel like hockey…. No ? If I would buy a game like NBA Street compared to NBA2K, I’m pretty sure I know what I would get if I bought the NBA Street one. Over the top B Ball with an Arcade feel. If I bought the 2K one, I would want for it to be the closest representation of the sport.
That's where people are lost and confused when they buy NHL24. A fully licensed game by the NHL.

No. When I join my beer league team 2-3 nights a week, I expect THAT to feel like hockey.
When I fire up NHL 24, I expect to play a videogame.

Well the definition of a hockey videogame is a very personal definition by different types of people. I never ever want to play online because to me that’s not hockey.
This is the greatest sport on earth, don’t make a mockery of it….
If I wanna go crazy once in awhile playing against my daughter on the couch, I’ll fire a 3s game with the mascots. Or else, I play my setup that’s the closest to the real sport possible and that’s what brings me joy. To me all the little nuances, all the little details is what a game of hockey should be. But that’s just my opinion.

@KidShowtime1867Thats not valid for me. I played about twenty years hockey, not beer league but also not pro. When I play this videogame I expect also that it feels a bit like a real hockey game but from my opinion EA NHL is far from this what it could be. Guys like @PernellKarl027 and other guys doing their best to get offline games atractive to play as best as
possible. After a hard working day I want to have some fun to play this game offline and not to battle with young kids for some championships online. If I would like to have a real competition I would go back to the rink and play real hockey. I never would judge about customer here when they asking for things which for me are not so important or for critics about the game.
