Meaningless Ratings

There is absolutely no correspondence between stats in this game.

My highest rated players are 89 overall, yet somehow my team rating at game starts says I have 97 offense and 93 defense.

I thought maybe it was based on comparison to other teams in the league, but when I look at my draft board it says I have an E grade on offense. My depth is great and so are my prospects so none of this makes sense.

Additionally two players with virtually identical attributes can have wildly varying overall scores.

Don't waste your time paying attention to team grades, team overall or player overall; it is all garbage.

  • The whole overall rating thing does not make sense. I can have a guy who doesnt have a single statistic over 70 overall yet he will be rated as a 70+ overall player

I usually see it the other way.

Look at Nicolas Beaudin of Montreal.

Most of his scores are in the 80s yet he is rated as a 75 overall. I see a lot more where they seem to be underrated than overrated
