All good suggestion for a pure presentation. If it would all be there, for me i would consider it a big nice to have. Not more, not less.
A more realistic game that shows off with authentic rules instead of a checking, charging and fortnite dancing would do it for me. When it comes to presentation a scan your face, like in older versions, is my only wish.
The biggest upgrade for 25 would be a goaltender whos actually playing hockey. How to do? Just let him skate behind the net to play the puck, make Shesterkin passes thru the neutral zone, if there is the right situation, skate in front of his net when needed and dont be glued in the blue paint like for the last 30 years.
That would easily do it.
Presentation gets skipped by 90% of the users after watching it 5,6,7 times. So dont waste energy in that...

Seeing which modes get which percentage of players would be really cool and would give context for their actions/non-actions in developing each year's title.

@NeonSkyline21I'd love for that too. I know they have stated in these forums that the offline player base is lower and I'd guess it has diminished for the past 3 releases due to the lack of interest in those modes (the cause is the drop is EA NHL's own doing). I know mine has dropped from a game I'd play every day to a game I'll play once or twice a month. Even a lot of the GM sim content creators who used to do SIM franchises have either stopped or gone back to older games like NHL 14. Due to the newer games missing content, lack of presentation, glitches that span years, AI not being able to handle basic roster construction and line make ups.
