Nerf LT+A spam skaters - Don't Just Break LT+A

  • Please actually fix LT+A superhero spam skating, don't just turn off LT+A body rotations. It doesn't make any sense that I can't just turn around.
  • The problem with LT+A is people skating backwards and playing the whole game that way. Not people who just pivot to make a play.
  • @EA_Aljo has already said it's a function of people "not using it as intended." The solution to this is to do the work to make sure it can be used as it was intended. There was, and still is, plenty of time to address and work on this.
  • We're not upset spammers are going away, we're upset with "how" you're solving that problem. You don't just break something and call it a feature. You actually fix it.

How it can actually be fixed (MANY ways):

  • Any combination of severe nerfing of speed, puck control, deking, balance when LT+A is engaged
  • Make it a glide only mechanic to address spam backwards-skating behavior
  • You could even make penalties less likely on players who have LT+A engaged so you can poke it off of them.

The reality is any of those above strategies would work. Do anything other than just say "Sorry, it's broken. Figure it out." People are telling you how to actually fix the spammer behavior and let honest players control their players. Why isn't this being listened to? Nerf it a zillion percent. Not being able to turn is just ridiculous.

99% of us are not spammers. We are real people who play hockey in real life and have real concerns. Stop acting like this is black and white, spammers versus regular joes. It's not even close to being like that. I've never spammed it in my life. It isn't "turn it off or leave it on," it's "you need to fix it properly, not just break it."There's a massive contingency of people refusing to buy this game for this exact reason because our feedback was covered under an NDA and they're just finding this out now.
