Nobody asked for hipcheck
I'd argue we asked for a simpler hipcheck, but nowhere near this comically easy and OP'd
nobody asked for lacrosse
We did, but again, not this comically easy and OP'd
nobody asked for a bunch of cpu ai penalties
I've noticed its more extremely weak user penalties than AI
nobody likes X factors
Some of them are dumb, agreed
nobody asked for unrealistic glass breaking
Agreed, so bloody annoying
nobody asked to make the menus worse
If it's not clunky, it's not EA
nobody asked to mess up the creation zone
Now why TF would we want this to be easy? /s
Nobody asked for goalie tether
AI goalies are horrible for this, can't imagine what human goalies feel
nobody asked for the one button dekes and messed up controls
Personally, I'm not against this because you do still need to aim the shot, and do a proper flick with the stick
…. I can go on and on but don’t add things without testing them. I mean put them in the playtest earlier and if it’s bad just take it out. I like a lot of things ea did this year but it’s always 2 steps forward and 3 steps back..
but yeah for nhl 25 it would be cool to have monthly playtests starting in June where the devs try things out and if it’s bad we can let them know early so they can decide to not put it in.. or if it’s good to keep it in/tweak..
it sucks to be suprised with stuff they add and you’re like “uhm why did they add this” and then it’s too late to fix it or you have to wait months to nerf something… why can’t we be proactive instead of reactive. Just my opinion because I’m passionate about the game
Biggest one you're forgetting about is the pressure/exhaust system that doesn't function correctly half the time. Nobody, and I mean nobody asked for that
