Community ManagerI mean that’s fair, but who else can we channel this frustration toward? The community admin is the one who deals with the community.
I don’t want to continue to clog this thread with this discussion as it should be left for bug discussion etc. I’m happy to direct this a different route but I’m unaware of where else to direct it.
@EA_Aljo Apologies for directing frustration at you. You’ve done a stellar job being responsive to the community, and to me specifically. Quite frankly you probably deserve a nice Christmas bonus🤘
I personally am quite happy with the direction the game is going but seeing the same bugs be included in updates and taking steps backward when steps forward should be taken is extremely frustrating, and robbing the community of what they paid for.

Hey. When are we gonna get new drop in rinks??? How about bring back the winter classic arenas.
these Recycled rinks are old..
and We should be able to wear our club jersey in drop in games..
I have told earlier about this thing, but anything hasn't happened. We can choose option "NONE" in team creation, if we not find good "play by play" name for created teams. Could EA Sports finally add this also to player creation. If you not find good name for team from "play by play" name list for player, would be better that we could choose "none" and the commentator would says the player's number, than wrong last name.

Also, I absolutely understand your frustrations with the game. I have my own as well. However, I have the benefit of knowing what it takes to make this game and an understanding of how bugs are handled so my expectations are different than yours. There's an extremely passionate and talented team behind this game. As with pretty much every single piece of software though, there are going to be issues. We hate to see the disappointment when you all experience them and will keep working to get the reported issues handled as soon as we can.
NHL 24 has had a ton of changes over previous games. There are a number of new additions as well as updates to existing systems. I'm optimistic and confident things will improve over time. You all sticking with us is appreciated more than you know.

It's always fun being the public voice of your department, even when they totally override your screaming warnings that something isn't ready for deployment yet but do it anyways and then you're stuck with ~36,000 furious contacts in two months because of it and it's in the news and if your boss got hit by a train you wouldn't really shed a tear but you're not bitter or anything.
What was I saying? Whatever. Anyways, hang in there. Most of us know you're not the company, you're simply a guy doing his best job who's stuck in the middle.
I work in the software industry myself so I certainly understand what goes into this on the back end. I definitely believe this game is much improved on ice and although it’s still lacking to a degree, I see the potential and I’m willing to see it through another iteration of the game. I’m hopeful. And again, thanks for being responsive.

Its really sad to see what EA have done to our favorite game that is now boring and pretty unplayable . Does EA want the gameplay and the hitting to be this strange and bad? I know that they can make good hockey games, NHL 23 and back are good hockey games .Im really dissipointed in EA and the team that force me and my buddy to stop play NHL and find some other game
When are we getting Atlanta Thrashers jerseys ? and when will you put the thrashers and mighty duck logo in the vintage logos in creation?? SAME OLD CRAP ADDED..ADD MORE
@KBRAC37 They don't have the license for the Thrashers unfortunately. I would like the original ducks logo in there though.

- When you have the block on the left hand the wording is messed up.
- Equipment is out of order
- Of Course I have to mention draft year errors.
How do they not have the license for it? its literally Winnipeg's Alternate..
@KBRAC37 Oh I know but its not clear who actually holds the rights now since it was owned by Atlanta Spirit LLC but they no longer exist. If the NHL owns it then they may not have given EA permission to have it in. That's why we don't even see the jerseys under the Jets.
Okay but why have we not gotten thr mighty duck logo?????
And since we are brining in random jerseys in thr game last year it was the ducks and hawks from the movie.. any chance of thr Sudbury bulldogs jersey from shoresy?
@KBRAC37 That I don't know, I wish they would update all those logos. The buffalo head from buffalo isn't in. I wish they would add a logo upload like NBA2K has. Also add logo text. Some of the logos they have don't even match with the Play by Play Team Name. If the Play by Play Team Name is there there should be a logo for it and vice versa. The logos from the other leagues should be there too. But instead they have 5 logos for Vancouver.
NHL owns the intellectual property rights for the Thrashers. EA has to go through them to use the logo.
