Community ManagerYou need to use the right stick to win faceoffs. You also need to choose a grip. There are different grips you can choose to counter the grip of your opponent. I recommend doing a search on YouTube for NHL 24 Faceoff Tutorial. You can also look at older videos from within the last several years since faceoffs haven't changed in a long time.

thank you very much for your answer, but I really wonder why EA changed the controls so negatively in my opinion, the hybrid controls that were added later are not the same as in NHL23, which I get along with wonderfully, especially with the Bully ( left stick for direction and button A), you also have to keep in mind that there are also players who are no longer 20 years old or who have problems with their hands or fingers. I am a passionate NHL fan from Germany, especially the Anaheim Mighty Ducks and played NHL on the PC from NHL Hockey to NHL2009, then I bought an Xbox 360 and played NHL12 to NHL14, I had a serious car accident which left me both My arms including my hands were shattered and after a very long and difficult rehab I can use my hands to 90% again. Now I bought an Xbox again together with NHL23 and was very happy to play this game again, but when I bought NHL24 and configured the controls to hybrid and started the first game, my joy quickly disappeared and I was very disappointed. That's why my request to EA is to please bring back the hybrid controls like in NHL23. Greetings from Germany
