The hitting is way better in NHL 24, IMO. You actually have to time it correctly, which adds a much needed skill gap to hitting. You can't just hold up on the stick and let the game tractor beam you into a hit like in prior versions. It takes a little bit of getting used it, but it's a very welcome change.
It was the hitting in the past games that made this game fun and it wasnt super easy to hit you still had to time the hits . I can believe that there is people that like this new crap hitting but i suppose that thay are bad players that cant avoid being hit . O my god go and play your ladies hockey league

Someone from EA team can explain me this ? This check is absolutely not normal when the player is skating straight forward and the defender just change his direction to hit him with his bump.. I understand this can happen when the journey of the player is cut! but in this case, the defender will follow him and just touched the legs of the attacker... this is too powerfull for me, isn't it ? For your information, my teammate in red in the video is playing moonlight ... 99 in force ! And of course it leads to an absurd goal

That is one of the things I see too! Like a delay in the hit. almost like the hit box is unnecessary in size where collisions don't work properly
Everything about hitting from animation to controller to power is so totally wrong in this game that it is unplayable. Just go back and and look at nhl 23 and 22,21,20 etc there you have normal hitting
