Trash..this is why nhl keeps going downhill year after year in users...it took me 5 minutes to get in the game...never has that happened to me and I've been playing since 93 (before internet play).why is that? Because hitting and absolutely smashing people who couldn't get out of the way was so fun...now it's all skill stick BS and way too hard to check as a casual player....a lvl 10 player has no chance against a P3 player...it's stupid...there should be 2 game modes...1 real life hockey and 1 throwback game that you can choose to play with the easy big hits, that way you'd get a lot more people on the servers. Give the people a choice with the new gen.
Yes this is the worst game and gameplay by faaaar. So arcade whit the stupid hitting and speed boost. Everyone go look youtube creators videos what they are saying about this game. Tony sauce, trash94 gaming, imhence...
Little tip for the next nhl25 game @EA_Aljo this hitting needs to be gone or fixed if u want make people happy and play the game +buy packs and your pruducts

- @bobwell I just commented about this dumb interference penalty on another post. I used to love the net front battles in past years. This year im afraid to try anything in front until i gain full control of the puck because its almost always a penalty
Ive said numerous times on different posts here that no one i play with likes the new hitting system. We adjusted and we can hit fairly well but its much more difficult and honestly kind of ridiculous. I use skill stick only. I think the total control system is terrible because its 1 button push and you can hip check, shoulder check or perform lacrosse dekes with no skill. Now skill stick users have to use a “slapshot” motion to throw a hard check, if you miss you are out of the play, which would be fine if when i do connect and hit the player they are out of the play as well. Far too often you hit someone and they bounce up and are right back into the play before you are. Thats the part i hate.
