I don‘t remember in which NHL it was, but there were once some real scenes from outside of the arena or the city in the intro, that was sick.
- Bruins0633 years agoRising Hotshot@EA_Aljo In a real world something like the nbc package but for reality. Something like nhl 22 where we see the goalie stats and it’s not short like nhl 23

>Full presentation has not been added back
Why? Oh my god.. just WHY? Everyone has been asking for this all year. Is it really that difficult? It 's annoying . - coolspot7773 years agoSeasoned Hotshot@EA_Aljo
Full and condensed presentation was the option in NHL 22 that was fine but in NHL 23 the intros is about 6 SEC wit only condensed option. And i se no difference in NHL 24!i do not understand why NHL has this cheap intro solution?EA Fifa and Madden has TOTALLY different intros before the game and why do we NHL fans not get this to?I thought after all the feedback 100 page ++ about this for NHL 23 the team had fixed this and for NHL 24 they would bring back the intros with goalie presentation. This is a example intro how it should be but it is NHL 14!in NHL 24 they should have built from this and have much better intros but instead they are worse.NHL games with NBC package was also really nice with outside shots of the city.

The real scenes were part of the NBC broadcasting package. With NBC not broadcasting NHL games now, we can't have that in the game. As mentioned though, we are focusing more on broadcast improvements in the future.
If I understand you right, it's just longer intros and showing the goalie along with their stats?
- Bruins0633 years agoRising Hotshot@EA_Aljo Exactly if you take a look at nhl 22 that’s all we want for now! Hopefully for nhl 25 we get like tnt or espn broadcast

Yes having the goalies presented before the game is very important and give the whole game a much better feeling and you also would know which goalie who starts on the other team that is BASIC stuff.
And all the work to the gameplay going to be so much better. If possible the intro should start from the locker room seeing the players walk in the players tunnel and then skate out to the ice. Then a short warm up some various arena shots then nathional anthems and last they show the goalies with stats.Doing this for gameday atmosphere with todays graphics would most certain be the most beatuful sports game. Thanks for listening. - EA_Aljo3 years ago

Přijde mi normální nastupovat do zápasu, když nevím, který brankář je na soupeřově straně? když se nás zeptáte, co si představujeme za kompletní prezentaci, je vidět, že absolutně netušíte, co my?

For the online players, looks good, audio is a nice improvement for everyone but offline...
Honestly, I just don't get the logic of not having goalie stats but somehow reckoning that capturing whatever a goalscorer posts on his Instagram is far more important for offline play.
But it does sum up the direction of the game. The Flex Moment is designed to take you out of the rink action and force you into some Social Media bizarro world. Technically speaking, the transition is disjointed and unnatural. An immersion breaker. Please EA, look at the comments under the YouTube vid, the topics here or reactions on Operation Sports. The majority of commenters are not keen on this at all. Screw up the satisfaction of scoring and you kill enjoyment in any sports game.
An instant improvement would be to have kept the Flex Moment for the milestone goals only... then by their rarity, the actual scene becomes a reward, even something to look forward to. Game Design 101. Give the player an incentive to keep doing the same thing. But having it after every single goal... it quickly becomes annoying and the supposed "bunch of pixels", that's your player models EA, remains a far more palatable model.
The whole "customers demanded broadcast cam back" is disingenuous. It *was* in 23 and EA patched it out, compromising a feature customers had already paid for. So now the original cam is back alongside the newer version. Why they couldn't have done that in the first place rather than using it as a de facto selling point 10 months later is beyond me... but maybe I've just answered my own question.
