The "exhaust engine" is really bothering me.It is very arcadey. The "power meter" on the ice is very obnoxious and not the least bit authentic or realistic. I feel like this sort of mechanic belongs in Street Fighter, not NHL 24.More importantly, this "issue" could easily be addressed by just making fatigue more prominent. Your line is caught out there hemmed in your zone, the other team gets change and fresh players, and then you're in trouble because your line is tired and theirs isn't. Make the speed penalty for fatigue way higher - especially when it's in the "red", wherever that is determined to be - and maybe even add in some hunched over/barely moving skating animations. It will be hard to get the puck out of the zone, you will try to get a cover with your goalie or an off-the-glass and out. You arrive at the same outcome as the "exhaust" engine, without the gimmicky, arcadey stuff. And it requires the offensive team to get fresh legs, which the "exhaust engine" is completely missing.Likewise, goalies could have a fatigue bar too, that goes down with lots of shots/movement, goes up between faceoffs and between periods.Again, same outcome, done more authentically/realistically, no gimmicky/arcadey stuff. I guess "improved fatigue engine" isn't as marketable as "exhaust engine". Its kind of insulting that EA thinks hockey as a sport is so boring that we need "special move power bars" in the game.

@RatedxPGxEnigma exactly my point I would be fine to either have tnt or espn as the coverage… in the description of the game on the Xbox store it says. “Wholly refreshed presentation” which means entirely changed! Which would get me thinking that this is the year that JAMES WILL BE REPLACED… I heard Ray is replaced which is fine but the main voice needs to go bye bye now 🙏🏻 I can’t keep muting the broadcaster each after nhl 19…

@Beauts90 so they will be working on offline modes? Playoff mode could use an update…. We have the same celebration after a series win… would love to see a change in that. @EA_Aljo a cool change for this is obviously update the cutscene but during the handshake line can the teams keep their equipment on and then during the Stanley cup celebration have the losing team keep their gear on… just a small thing I noticed which is annoying each year. I hope I’m not sounding mean when I say these things but as a huge hockey fan I notice these things.

Sorry, but we'll have to wait for more news to be released about presentation updates. I don't have anything I can share currently.

Everything is geared towards online (microtransactions). Only way you'll see updates towards Franchise/BAP is if they find a way to integrate HUT into it.
Lol, I do not. But Mike did say it’s in the three year plan, so maybe NHL 27 won’t be as frustrating as we’re used to 🤞

@EA_Aljo Thank you for replying! I am very excited for the gameplay! I just hope and pray that the presentation will have those changes and really feel like I’m watching tv with new play by play 🙏🏻

@EA_Aljo are you able to answer if the goal horns got updated to be more accurate and will do more blasts like in real life. Like if Vegas scores nine goals in the game like they did in real life to win the cup! Will I hear nine blasts and their goal song? 🙏🏻

@EA_Aljo So with what was said by the director for the game, I would assume that Franchise Mode and BAP will have no changes what so ever? This is a very disheartening Tweet to read by the people who are responsible for the creation of this game.
