What I believe is being requested is the old flip dump that went up much higher and didn't require banking off the glass. Where you could go from the corner to the opposite side of the ice and have the puck drop in the NZ. That just isn't possible currently.

I totally understand that and I don't deny that the old dump was higher. But you can achieve the exact same outcome with the tools currently in place, which some claim is impossible.

Yes the outcome can be similar but there is more risk of the bank not working where a high flip out would not have that issue. That is my guess why it was removed. They want you to have a higher chance of failing so the opposing team can utilize the pressure system more.

Sauces, passes, bank passes, chips off the glass, flip dumps, carrying the puck with skill and precision... All of those are viable options.

@KidShowtime1867Not the only way but an easier and more efficient way. EA confirmed on here that it was removed cause it diminished the effectiveness of the pressure system. Hence why it would be removed. On the rare occasions I try to play NHL 24 now I have learned to use other methods to break out of the zone but under the pressure system the stamina loss doesnt warrant all you are mentioning depending on how long you are in it.

Hopefully EA can buff it for you.
- 11 months ago@KidShowtime1867 I hope they do, it would make the game more fun.

@KidShowtime1867Then if that specific flip out was not removed or nerfed as you have stated please demonstrate it. I have not seen it yet through any of your clips? Taking personal shots at a person or player cause wr have an opinion on a play that has been confirmed removed is a bit odd.
- 11 months ago@MasterB89 That's normal for the guys who like the game. I'm polite to everyone. I am treated with condescension from the people that disagree. The passive aggressive shots at a wide group of players who disagree with the forum champions is sad. I just want a fun hockey game.

LOL stop trying to get the thread locked and play victim to bullying. Nobody said anything personal about anyone.
I've posted countless clips of me using the flip dump to clear the zone. No, it's not as high and doesn't have the velocity it previously did. Not sure how many times I need to keep restating that. But it's still possible. Just because I'm not showing a 1:1 player movement and execution of IRL videos does not mean it's not as effective. I've shown that you can get the same results (clear the zone, create a breakout) when executed properly.
- Treatmentworke6611 months agoSeasoned Ace@MasterB89 Or you can use the line change exploit ,that can still be some what still effective ,I get a lot of 2 on 1's and it makes a lot of these guys who use full attack to chane their strategy
