I'm still not a fan of the hitting system which is why I abuse the heck out of the easy one button hip check,
I also don't think it should be a single button to be able to do the Michigan goal, I've seen more Michigan goal attempts in the first weekend release than ALL of last year.

@JagavekovIt's still a game at the end of the day though, so its supposed to toe the line of arcade and simulation, I don't have an issue with the celebration cutscene. I actually enjoy seeing the celebrations from people. I feel like there are some bigger issues with the game than celebration cutscenes.

Yes at the end of the day it’s still a HOCKEY game and this has NO place in hockey… A self centred celly with 4 zombies following you in a dark tunnel of doom ! Come on… This is not FORTNITE !
In the trial I was playing the Coyotes and we were leading 7-3 in the 3rd. Period, we scored the 8th and 9th goal late to make it 9-3. And every freakin time you see that cut scene and the player slides face first on the ice while it’s 9-3 ! So CRINGE worthy it’s unbelievable. There’s other reasons, but for this reason alone I’m not buying the game that I bought since 91…
When they are testing these new things, who are they showing this to ? The DEVS 7 year old's child ?
At the very least, make it OPTIONAL.

Have the devs said anything about making the new celebrations optional in the future via a patch?
The unrealistic celebrations are my main complaint this year. The presentation during gameplay is pretty nice otherwise. Scoring a goal isnt fun this year when they throw this goofy cutscene in your face the second the puck hit the net….
Please make it optional!

THIS is the answer. If you actually like the tunnel of doom you can have it, but for those of us who don't (and there seem to be a lot), let us turn it off! Every presentation element should have an ON and OFF slider like gameplay does. There's no reason we should be given less options to customize every year, this is not how modern video games work.
