NHL 25 for PC
How can someone make a request to EA to put the NHL franchise on PC (ie. NHL 25)? Does anyone know where or how to make contact with them?
Hi there, @IC0NWAR
I can assure that we're very aware of the requests for a PC version. Thanks for the feedback on this.
NO NHL 25 FOR PC so you do not know how many request there are remember EA a lot of people don't use this website i don't understand FC25 on pc Madden 25 on pc and now NBA2k25 is now next gen on pc just put one new NHL game either NHL 25 or 26 so see if it goes well if it doesn't then don't make another one personally i know NHL on PC would sell. Remember EA a lot of people don't want to buy a console after spending $1000+ on a pc
Don't expect NHL to ever be on PC until consoles start disappearing, which I hear the Xbox might be doing in the distant future. You are crazy to think it is worth it to put the game on PC. It is not worth the amount of resources they would have to dedicate to porting it over and maintaining its upkeep. The sad truth is that a sports games' player base are directly tied into its fanbase. FC is able to do it on PC because it is the world (moreso Euros) that all love the sport of Soccer/Futbol. Madden did it in 2021 and it had a peak player base of 3k players which who knows how many got it for PC instead of their console because it was available? The NFL has nearly 18m average viewers per game. Now lets take the NHLs number of 500 thousand average viewers which is 1/36th of the NFLs. what is 1/36 of 3000? Even if there was, lets say hypothetically 3000 peak players on PC... how many of those would be new players vs the players that already play the game on their console and have switched just because they have a PC (I would be one!)? The fact is you will not get enough *new players* to play the game based on these statistics so it is not worth it for EA to spend those resources to make it available on PC.
That's not even going into what it would mean for the current playerbase who would have to watch EA sacrifice a year, similar to what happened in NHL 23 with PS/Xbox crossplay implementation, in order to port the game over to the PC. So that would mean no real changes to the game again, in order to grab a piece of that maybe 1-2k peak players?
It's not personal, it's just business and that business probably tells them that the number of sales they would get would not be worth the time and money and sacrifice spent.... sorry.
