1.PLEASE put a button mapping system so we can choose ourselves the controls we want.2.PLEASE take out hip cheking completly , broken mechanic with superhuman tracking that people abuse , we never see those in real world hockey maybe once every 1000 games...3.PLEASE take out the penaltys we cant actually control , crosscheking and elbowing.4.PLEASE find a solution for the accidental hitting in front of the net ! Holding LT was a hotfix to a huge problem and it doent even work! We need it to be forever gone ! I will had to that , the hitting is atrocious i dont think anybody likes the nudge system its way off and it causes problems ( see above ).5.Fix a.i. inteligence, hockey is not about turning in circles behind the net waiting for a D to chase and then curl back in front and shoot. Its completly absurd.6.Goalies in 5s or a.i. controlled needs balancing asap, i can make 6-7-8 beautiful passing plays (tic-tac-toes) and nothing goes in but i can make a dirty short side goal 90% of the time! PLEASE make it make sense !I HAVE PLAYED NHL FOR ALL MY LIFE SINCE 94 on sega genesis and i can say with confidence that nhl 24 is the worst of em all.I know plenty of people that dont want to buy the game and play anymore because it has been ruined. With these changes i believe NHL fanchise is gonna Grow in a much brigther future. Sincerly a fan who speaks for a vast majority.

I just wanted to make a couple of comments. First, for number 3, you can control crosschecking and elbowing. Crosschecking happens when you spam shoves on a player. Doing more than 2 shoves quickly can cause crosschecking. This is more likely to happen with a lower discipline rating.

Elbowing only occurs when a charging penalty is called. You'll get elbowing instead. Again, this having a lower discipline rating will make this more likely to happen.

The accidental hitting in front of the net is a known issue. The team is investigating it. I would absolutely love to see this fixed. It's one of my biggest frustrations right now.

As far as your other suggestions go, thanks for the input. It's very much appreciated.

For the crosscheking it is absolutly false i get plenty of crosscheking penaltys after the first bump. But thank you for taking the time too look at my post really apreciate it means people actualy care about the game

Also is button mapping gonna come to nhl 25 ... we really need it .. people with elite controllers can do it and by instance have an advantage that everyon should have.

Actually, I was a little off. Cross-checking occurs with multiple shoves. So, this can happen on the second shove. Not the 3rd+ as I mentioned. If this is happening a lot for you, just slow down on the shoves. You could also raise your discipline rating.

I know there's the idea that we don't care. That really couldn't be further from the truth. While not everyone in the community agrees with the decisions we've made, the entire team here absolutely cares. Which is why we keep releasing updates that are very heavily influenced by community feedback.
