@Stubo_NHL24 I have no way of knowing.. but based on the actual work done and changes to the game I'd say they likely work on each installment for a month or two. No real thought is put into what they will put on the back of the game (hence why we got full pressure this year) and because they didn't put much thought into it and little work into it, it was not received well. We've had the same bugs for 3-5 years so they don't take the time to fix these. My guess is that they all get together brainstorm what they can throw on the back of the cover to get people to buy and then implement that change as quickly as they possibly can and likely never test any of it before they have the open beta. They then take the next 8 months coming in once a month or so to fix what they can. These fixes are also not tested. Hence why we still have CPU players tripping non stop, interceptions still broken, lobby problems, screen flashes, etc, etc, etc. It's a mess. However, no one else wants to make a game so we're all stuck with what we got unless someone jumps into the market or the NHL steps in and puts an expectation on the product. Video games tend to be able to grow a game and this game will NOT grow the sport of hockey, its unfortunate.
