- @Epopp1 Maybe we can throw some love to Doc Emrick and get him in the game! I miss him calling games.
- General:
Revamp the whole attribute system. Allow franchise players to have a 105 speed or 107 slap shot power. Add different attributes like specific dekes, snap shots, backward skating speed, not just strength but power driving to the net, saucer pass, toe drag etc.
AI is decent but add more “moves”. For example d men crashing the net off a give and go.
I love the x-factors but maybe add a couple more
Board play is horrendous. You tie up a player and then whoever gets there first to support get the puck. Allow for more battling around the boards.
Actual faces for draft prospects
Passing needs to be tweaked.
Fighting needs to be changed. It’s the same rockem sockem for a long time. Allow line brawls. More pushing and shoving after the play without penalties. Allow visible marks on the players after a fight. Maybe some blood.
Allow us to play in the Olympics
Franchise:
Allow changing current player attributes, age, body size, and play style
Allow us to negotiate players retiring to stay
More immersive franchise with things that make a little sense. Hard to hire/ fire scouts and coaches.
Allow us to customize draft prospects in franchise mode so that we can create an 8 year old we can draft 10 years down the road. Also allow us to just customize the current players in franchise mode, not just in the main roster
Allow us to change the amount of time each line stays on the ice in the strategy menu. 3rd line gets x minutes a game or x percentage of play time.
Change owner goals. Allow us to give players goals as coaches. Again just more immersive franchise.
Be a pro
Huge would be allowing us to play a season in the juniors. Or at least the end of a season for a championship run and then the championship.
More immersive again.
Change the dialogue. It’s essentially been the same for 5 years. Different goals from the coaches both on and off the ice. Different goals from the media.
Allow us to request the gm to bring in a player we want. Allow us to request a trade to a specific team.
Allow us to edit our player weight and height (within 2 inches) as we go along and change our play style.
Allow us to practice with the team. Make them practicing more meaningful/ immersive.
revamp the whole fame/ management/ teammate likability stuff.
Add more things we can buy/ permanent perks. Allow us to see some of the things we buy.
