Does anyone know if the NHL 94 controls are back for NHL 25?

Community ManagerWhat about the Hybrid controls specifically don't you like? The only difference is flicking down the stick to win faceoffs.
@EA_Aljo Are you even listening to me? We dont want Hybrid Controls we want NHL 94 controls! When I say "we" I am not just speaking for myself I am also speaking for the many other people that EA has spit on! When you told me that you guys have do certain control layouts that better support the future of the game I feel as if you are calling the much older generation folks like me extinct dinosaurs of the past & telling the super handicapped that you guys don't give a fat rat's behind about them! You told me that you are also part of the much older generation so I guess you are even calling yourself an extinct dinosaur of the past! I have now said what I have had to say

Can you specifically tell me which part of the Hybrid controls don't work for you? I'd like pass this feedback on to the team. Again, the only difference is how you take faceoffs. If you haven't tried out those controls yet, please do that so you can tell me what you don't like about them.
- @EA_Aljo OK... with Hybrid controls I would like to see the players move faster with the X-button, to win faceoffs use the A-button, do slap-shots, wrist-shots, & back-handed shots with the B-button, & the very top 2 left buttons with the spin move & being able to drag the puck... I have really broke it down for you please pass it to the feedback team

Taking faceoffs was the same speed with NHL 94 controls.
Currently, Slapshots are on the B/Circle button. Wristshots are on the X/Square button. Backhand shots are done by moving the puck to your backhand and then shooting.For a toe drag, you just move the right stick from about 8:00 to 5:00 counter-clockwise. I realize this isn't ideal for you though. To spin, you just hit LT/L2.
I'll pass on your feedback. I really don't anticipate these changes will be made. So, as long as your hands have the mobility to perform what I mentioned, the above controls can be learned with some practice. If you have mobility issues, I would suggest getting a controller that allows the controls to be remapped.
