NHL Awards Collectables
So I have a few of these collectable cards but nowhere to trade them in?
EA have you missed something here?

No, those collectibles can't be used in the Awards sets. Unlike most other events, Awards collectibles can't be used for making MSPs. They were only used for the 96 overall cards that upgraded to 99 if the player won an award last night, but since those sets expired before the awards were handed out, there is no way to use those collectibles anymore.
And just to clarify, this is not a complaint about the fact that we can't use Awards collectibles anymore. I just wanted to give the correct answer to @davecaps's question.
I'd like to ask you one thing though: Why do we still have the ability to make Awards collectibles when we can't use them anymore? Unless you're planning to release more content that uses Award collectibles, the Award collectible sets should have only been available for a limited time just like the 96 overall sets and they should be removed now. I have to admit that’s one thing I don’t like about NHL24. And I admit it’s been a while since I played it but the extra transactions that you are encouraged to make are quite disappointing and distracting.
I’ve spend well over $120NZD on this game and now you suggest I buy a pack in order to fill out my team.
So these collectables were for that kind of purchase or could you possibly win a 96 card?
Seems I’ve wasted two 88 plus cards on these collectables.

It wasn't just a chance at a 96 overall card, it was a guaranteed 96 overall card. There was a separate set for each of the 12 cards. And if you chose Bedard, MacKinnon, Quinn Hughes or Hellebuyck, then the card upgraded to 99 because those 4 players won an Award last night. But those sets were very expensive. I don't remember exactly how many event collectibles they required, but the collectibles you got by trading in 2 88 overall cards were nowhere near enough.
The fact that we still have the ability to make Awards collectibles even though we can't use them anymore is definitely a mistake from EA, but for future reference, when you're thinking of making some collectibles, you should check what those collectibles can be used for before actually making them.
