Hi I tried opening a case earlier and no one is getting back to me. Can’t seem to find a way to live chat and the email case seemed to just close with no reply. So I’m struggling to get any answers. Just tried to click the link you sent and it keeps sending me to a blank page. 

Having the same problem. Got the X-Factor edition but no Cale Makar item found. I have a case open, needing an update from an advisor.

Didn't received cale makar item also. Can you help please?

Any luck? Because I got a reply from the ea help and it was absolutely no help 😂. Just telling me to contact where I bought it from. Which is mad, as surely it’s all just part of the X factor stuff. Why have I got the rest of it and not the player item?

Hello, everyone. The Makar item was only available with pre-ordering. If you purchased after NHL 24 released, this item wouldn't be included.

That sucks. You were still more than happy to keep selling the X-factor edition though, weren't you?

Don’t recall that being said anywhere either. Was still showing in the description of the game when purchased as well 😂

not to mention it says on the website about redeeming “offer” before the 15th to receive the “pre order content” it’s still before that date. Also there was no defining thing I can see that states which bits were pre order and which weren’t. Because the description clubbed all the the rewards together and yet we’ve got the other stuff.

Normally the early access is the main preorder incentive. I don't know whether this is a good thing or a bad thing that the player was exclusive. Clearly it's good enticement to keep people buying x-factor edition

They've at least smartly removed it from the descriptions now.

Oh well, lesson learned.

The Terms and Conditions article here has all the details on pre-ordering as well as the post launch editions. You have until October 15th to log in to the game for the first time to redeem the pre-order content.

When purchasing the game day of, the store should have been updated to say what came with each edition. We also announced the pre-order and post launch details when pre-orders initially started. If you have screenshots showing this being inaccurate, I'll pass it on to the team for review.
