Look at 5,50 in this video about visuals settings
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCOGeFyp1bw&t=412s
The green stamina bar looks like we can turn off and x factor but pressure icon looks to be burned in to the ice for good and this is not good news.
With all due respect, when you give this answer, it’s NOT GOOD news ! If it was removable, you would just say it.
Bunch of people have already played the game and the guys at EA have the game in front of them as we speak….
Just say that it’s not removable now and people will make a wiser choice concerning getting 24… No ?- EA_Aljo2 years ago

It's not up to me when these details get released so it's not something I can comment on.
Thanks, I’ve watched a bit of that video… Again not for long because it hurts my eyes 😉😆 Just seeing a shadow three times bigger than the puck, gives me shivers down my spine….
That being said, there’s seems like it’s not in the options to remove what I asked for 😮

Thanks Aljo for your answer. I’m not shooting the messenger here. You have a job to do.
What I don’t get, it’s that all the things that OFFLINE people ask for are always put to the side, while whenever ONLINE people ask for stuff, you guys are very quick on the trigger, to fix and tweak stuff… Why don’t OFFLINE people get to "community" test the game ? We are not part of the community ? We are not as valuable to make suggestions on the gameplay aspect ?

Offline players are certainly part of the community. Unfortunately, as we've already said, online is getting a bigger focus right now. There are plans for updates to offline modes over the next few years.

I wonder if it not being mentioned in the “play test update” means we won’t be able to turn it off.
Another reason I think the “play test feedback” was all PR fluff and the changes made were already decided on beforehand. The changes made from feedback were tuners that I’m sure they already knew what they would be at launch. This was one of the main requests from the play test and no mention of it whatsoever.

Thanks Aljo !
I’ll now return to my dark OFFLINE corner where I’ll stay quiet and wait another 2 maybe 3 years… 😞

I know future years = future presentation updates. But throw us a bone! Add a few extra overlays or cut scenes for presentation purposes. Totally need more immersion.
- @PernellKarl027 Don't worry they seem like they want to make Online Franchise a thing. Bringing the offliners to online.

I also asked multiple times that EA treat’s online and offline separately when they deploy a gameplay patch… Every time, it spells disaster when the wanna fix online cheese, glitch goals, goalies and whatnot to please the HUT packs buyers or the YT influencers….. To guys that make sliders and rosters it’s a living nightmare…
- @PernellKarl027 For the most part you don't want to create different gameplay feelings as you want people to feel they can jump around easily between modes.
If they do the franchise right the offline and online versions will be much of the same. So don't worry. Madden has a pretty decent Franchise Mode that is pretty cool.
1.) Choose Your Team
2.) Decide on a Fantasy Draft
3.) Work Through The Training Camps and Mini Games
4.) Complete The Weekly Strategies
5.) Set Your League Settings

This is where we are not seeing eye to eye Follisimo… For me Hockey is Hockey, no matter the modes. For me it’s supposed to look and play like the real thing. When I tell you that I can’t play 5 minutes on the EA "Simulation" sliders because it’s really not for me…
So for me, playing ONLINE with the aforementioned and dedicated settings is a big NO NO. If this the direction EA is going in the future with everyone online with the same settings, they will lose a customer that bought the game since NHL91 and I know for sure that I’m not alone.- Froommey2 years agoSeasoned Ace
@KlariskraysNHLPersonaly will stay with offline Franchise, not very interested and don't want to play vs not known people online. Another reason ist that I don't want to plan my time to play online games. I have other priorities what I await from a good hockey game.
- 20Portugal042 years agoNew Veteran@PernellKarl027 I agree with my man here 100% as an offline player myself, I do not want to play online at all, and if EA wants to make all changes in the game with the exhaust engine graphics and the new spot light goal( which I don't mind) at least give all options to the players to toggle and off.

I think the big difference between Madden and NHL is that Madden is built for offline and then adjusted for online, where NHL is the opposite. Some of the biggest problems with offline modes both on and off the ice are due to the AI programming which wouldn’t be fixed by moving the modes online.
The offline modes are also in need of some major work and if most of the focus is getting it online in 3 years and then working on the nuisances of the mode, the offline community is in for a long haul before things actually start to look up.
Add in the fact that the majority of offline players are trying to create a true sim experience and the direction of the game is clearly going towards a more arcade style of game as it seems to be the preference of the online community.
There seems to be optimism from the game changers about the offline modes and I will definitely take their word for it as it’s all we have right now. I also have no issues with the game being created to please the majority of its players, but you can see where there might be some initial skepticism. - @PernellKarl027 I am saying the general idea is you want them the same across the board gameplay wise because of the average user. Someone that doesn't know hockey would feel quite weird going from different modes with gameplay being totally different from the defaults for the most part.
When you create an online franchise you can still edit sliders and all that jazz if it's your league you are running and have people in. - Froommey2 years agoSeasoned Ace
Another thing why I don't want to play online is the camera angle. I like to play in broadcast mode, sorry but the classic mode for me looks a bit like ping pong hockey.

Have you ever tried Action Camera on Player Lock (auto zoom) ? Best immersive REAL hockey experience in my opinion 😀
I strongly suggest this way of playing in my SETUP, and I’ve turned around a bunch of guys that swore by other camera angles 😉
@Froommey I've having trouble understanding your excuse when it's in the options menu. I mean it's ok to just say you don't want to use the inferior camera angle when it comes to playing online.
I of course prefer the zone camera so I can see the whole ice and read my opponents.
- Froommey2 years agoSeasoned Ace@PernellKarl027 Yes tried, looks also great. Classic cam in offline mode used until two years ago and found out that in other camera angles the game with own sliders looks so much better and more like a hockey game. I know your sliders too. Great work buddy ! By the way, what you are doing for offline mode is amazing. We offline gamers need more guys like you :-)
- Froommey2 years agoSeasoned Ace
@KlariskraysNHLIt makes only sense if both playing online the same camera angle. Other camera angles are by far more difficult to play online as the classic cam, so it would'nt be fair. Same meaning as PK too, also no sense too to play with EA sliders online. Want to play a hockey game which looks as close as possible, therefore EA sliders in my opinion aren't good enough.

That’s awesome my friend ! Thanks for the nice words 👍😀 Me and a couple of guys from OS, (GetThePuckOut, phillyfan23 and zevon__99) are working as we speak on something even better… We all think that this will change the game for a long, long time…You can stay tuned or if you would like to join the group, let me know by PM… I see that you and I share the same views on the game 😉
- Froommey2 years agoSeasoned Ace@PernellKarl027 I know you and the other guys from OP Sports :-) I guess you know me too, but under another nickname ;-) I am there since many years, roster, face scan thread ;-)

If you are, who I think you are, this community definitely needs more people like you also !!! But when I say this community, take it with a grain of salt, because apparently we are not "sexy" to EA…
Peace ✌️
