@CapeBretonIslndr According to the launch trailer, the teathering system was created to prevent goalies from losing control of their crease. Interestingly enough, the clip they used to exemplify this was just a user goalie jumping completely out of the net for no reason on a relatively simple shot. Total skill issue that needed higher hockey IQ, not completely new controls that virtually no goalie enjoyed.

I think they were intending to help goalies have better control over their crease, but they ultimately ended up TAKING control away from user goalies and made us feel like we were fighting with the controls just to stay still.

    After several games, I liked the goalkeeper's control. A completely different approach to control. If previously you had to move the stick relative to the current position, now the stick needs to be placed in an absolute position. That is, for example, if you need to move to the upper left corner, then you simply move the stick to the upper left corner, regardless of where the goalkeeper is. It's much more convenient!
    The only point is the goalkeeper returning to the center of the goal. Now, if you remove the automatic return and don’t change anything else, it would be good!
    But there are rumors that the previous management will be returned?
