Did you sign up through the NHL Insiders program?

    I am in the exact same position than @sebban95 . I got the same answer from the agent on the live chat with EA help. I registered in the first place through the insider program on august 11th. So I have the same question…How do we proceed from there?

    @Devilkillerqc 

    Unfortunately, there were some in the Insiders program that didn't complete the second step of the registration so they didn't get signed up for the playtest. Currently, we don't have a resolution for this, but I'm still looking in to it. If I have an update, I'll relay it here.

    I’m not an insider, but I signed up day one and I’m being told I’m * out of luck wait for the next batch. When is there gonna be another batch?

    Thank you. Absolutely appreciate that. I wish there were more I could do. Unfortunately, if the registration wasn't completed, which is the case for many Insiders, the account wouldn't be flagged for the playtest so support can't help. Either that or the wrong email was used during registration. So, if you have multiple accounts, it would be good to log in to that one and contact support to have them check to see if that account is registered.

    Trust me mate, it’s hard enough for me to handle just one account, so I only have one hahaha ! But in my case, it is for sure the fact that I registered as an insider and I didn’t do the second step as it was not indicated anywhere and not clear at all that there was two steps…Especially with what the page was saying after the first step…Something along the lines of « thank you for registering and please wait for the email to see if you are selected »…

    Anyway, as I said, I know it’s out of your control, been in that position as a worker way to much in my life so I understand where you are. But again, many many thanks for all you did and all you do as of now for the community. It shows that you care as I said. Good night buddy.

    Codes have been sent out for today. I still didn’t get one. I signed up first thing, right away. This is frustrating.

    Europe, PS5, no code.

    At least admit that you effed up. No need to tell us to check our spam mails etc.

    The reason you wouldn't get a code would be for the following reasons -

    • You signed up through the NHL Insiders program and didn't complete the second step of the registration
    • The registration was completed after the cutoff time on Thursday
    • Your code is in a spam/junk folder

    Also, codes are still being sent out so keep watching your email.

  • @EA_Aljo Just for future reference what exactly is the "second step of the registration"? A clubmate of mine signed up at the same time I did and we were chatting while we did it. It sounded like he went through all the same steps I did but I got a code and he hasn't. Same accounts we've used in previous years, and yes he's checked his spam/junk folders.

    It sounds like he missed something during registration but we cant' figure out what.

    @EA_Aljo I received confirmation that I successfully signed up but the only codes I have in my email are for 21, 22, and 23. Nothing in junk mail.  What gives?

    An email was sent that many just didn't read. There was a sign up button that was missed.

    No junk mail missed.
    Registered as soon as possible and I got a confirmation about it, twice.
    Checked all mails. No sign up buttons in any mails.

    I now received the code with the funny reminder to start downloading right away so that I would be able to play right at the beginning of the test window.
    Funny, because obviously I (and very few others) missed a mail and a button. So the download should be fast because everybody else is already playing, right?
    So, my speed being atm 100MBit/s I‘m at 6% after 20 minutes.
    Hey, now it‘s 7%.

    So, are there so many others downloading? We must be really blind and/or stupid to have missed that important sign up button ignoring mails. Sure we register but ignore then the rest….because we love to complain about EA.
    What does this mail exactly look like? And when was it sent?

    I just want to kill some time and check, because at this speed the download will take a few more hours.
    Yay, 8%.

    Same here dude. They said they sent me one but never received it. I've tried everything.

    @EA_Aljo I assume so, I didnt get anything more after putting in my preferences on the playtest page.

    As we talked about on PM, would be happy if this could get sorted since the Advisor that I talked to couldnt help out.

    At this point, all the codes have been sent out. I'm very sorry to say, but some of the NHL Insiders didn't get their codes because the registration wasn't completed. Apparently, there was a sign up button that was missed. If any other codes are released, we'll make an announcement.

    I have the same issue ,maybe is something pending from my side, but i don't think so. As is not the first time that i was supporting the playtests. I even received and completed the Survey for the game.
    Last email is about the changes on the " NHL 24 Playtest! The NHL 24 dev team have been"

    Or overall we were too many and not everyone receiving the codes that they selected when sing up for the playtest ?
