Re: NHL 24 Early review.

Hitting is too hard.  Opposing players are just ragging and dodging as we try to even dislodge the puck from player with not success... With a Power forward.  I know there is a learning curve... but this may be a huge issue.  Let keep Hockey real.

This.  I lined someone up for a hit and it barely budged him.

I’ve only been playing offline and I feel like I can’t really connect on a hit to save my life. Even when I line it up it just bounces off like nothing

@BoredJason13 Yeah, I was playing EASHL and I thought to myself "Alright, maybe its because I don't have X Factors or abilities yet" But then I started doing a franchise and Jacob Trouba lined a hit, bounced right off him. Jacob...Trouba...

@RelentlessJ69 We said the same thing last night. "Maybe it's because we don't have X factors etc" even though we were playing with PFs.

Then we unlocked the 3 builds on Gamepass, that have strength and checking in the mid 90s or 99, and we still couldn't hit anyone.

CHEL is ruined without the checking.

Hitting is more realistic. It's now like a slapshot, you have to pull back and then forward instead of just pushing forward like previous years.

@wardsac So the hitting, I found out you have to pull back on the right trigger and then move it forward, hopefully they change that in a future update, but it'll take some getting used to, I sort of figured it out.
