Hey, WoC Fans! We just announced a skater X-Factor update for Season 6.

Why did I get my Season 6 rewards, play 2 placement games for season 7 and then you guys turned off seasons?
I pay for a 12 month game but you only give me a 10 month game. After every season you take 1 week to "calculate" final standings. This is something that can be done with a basic excel sheet and should NOT take days to do. Regardless you could start the next seaosn WHILE you do your "calculations"
Then after Season 6 you stop the game. Seasons is done with 1 month till the new NHL is released. Not only that, but why can't I continue to play seasons on a game I PURCAHSED only 1 year prior? So in total after 5 days of pointless hockey after every season ( 6 seasons) and the last month you don't start the seasons that adds up to 2 months of pointless hockey.
I';d like some answers as all I see is people hiding behind screens sneding me links to stuff that does not apply to my request.
I PAID FOR THE GAME SO I EXPECT TO BE ABLE TO PLAY IT FOR YEARS TO COME!

Community ManagerYou can still play. Yes, there are no seasons, but that doesn't prevent you from playing games. With the majority of the playerbase moving to the current game each year, we need to shift our focus there as it doesn't make a lot of sense to support the live service for the previous year's game. This happen with all of our sports titles.
There also is a lot more involved than a basic spreadsheet when it comes to auditing the results. It's understandable there's frustration with waiting. Hopefully, we can speed this up in the future.
This is basic math. Excel can easily take care of this!!!!!
Why not have a season 7 to overlap the new game? Why not support past titles as we all paid hard earned money for these?
All I hear is excuses in order for you to charge another hundred dollars for an UPDATE. This is not a NEW game
You do realize that a large number of people only play the game to play CHEL right? And the only point of playing CHEL is to rank your player up and get your teams wins in season and playoffs. So you pretty much have made the game POINTLESS to play. Do you not see where a paying customer is coming from?

Not everyone thinks it's pointless to play. There are those that still like to play regardless of having an active season. As mentioned though, our sports titles don't support live services for the previous year's game as they shift focus to the current one. This is done so we can support the very high majority of the playbase that moves to the new game.
As far as the audit goes, again, there is a lot more than just math happening when verifying results.

I AM CURRENTLY PLAYING THE MOST RECENT VERSION OF YOUR GAME BUT YOU HAVE STOP SUPPORTING IT. PLEASE MAKE THIS MAKE SENSE!!!
And secondly, the reason you have such a large number of poeple switch to the newer title is because of what you just said. You have FORCED us to switch ganes as you are not supporting live serices anymore. This is a joke right? You do see that you just contracdicted yourself. You said you only support the CURRENT game which is the one I am currently playing!
