Superstar AI incites violent behaviour…rated E for everyone
1st period, on SB Superstar and AI levelled my players EVERY SINGLE time I had the puck the moment I received a pass.
I’m talking like straight up Violence…speed checks or cross checks in the back…my guys don’t even get up.
btw, it’s not because the player has the puck that the opponent can floor him and not get a penalty. Refs should call hitting from behind - roughing - unsportsmanlike conduct - Obstruction or even misconduct.
the cross checks your AI does is out of this world…Players online same thing and no penalty called. Hitting a player in the back should be am AUTOMATIC MINOR….
Need I remind you that Nhl 24 is rated E for everyone 10+. The game of hockey is not about giving violent body checks to remove puck possession or to hurt people.
kids will play your game and then go on the ice repeating what NHL24 teaches them…
the Superstar AI is violent and weazels his way to avoid losing puck possession. This mode promotes violence to remove the puck from your opponent.
Lower the AI violent behaviour or increase the penalties on AI’s..this is getting out of hand.
Also, The AI scores on almost every shot. He has 3 shots on my goalie and 3 goals…the only way you can beat the AI on Superstar is to hit him the minute he has the puck and apply constant pressure in his zone.
he avoids all poke checks and his goal % is above 90% on shots once he enters your zone.
I would like to share this anecdote... I’m playing my nephew and his friends in street hockey the other day and I get a few wacks and crosschecks.
I suggest to them that there are other ways to take the puck away and one of them answers…"what are you talking about that’s what they do in games on tv and we do it in NHL24 all the time..."

do something or don’t…either way I thought I’d share my thoughts on the unnecessary violence I noticed playing All-Star or Superstar mode.
IMO NHL24 should be rated M if the violence stays.
