The game is stuttering really badly on PS5. I only play Ultimate Team against AI. I have cleared the cache and reinstalled the game. The game works fine for a while, and then the problem returns. I also own the game on Xbox Series X and it runs without any issues.

The problem seems to be solved. At first I only deleted the game save from the hard drive. Today it occurred to me, and I removed it from both the hard drive and the cloud, and now the game seems to be running normally. Thanks everyone for your help!

@nuppijumi We've noticed some issues as well, recently as far as we know. Goal celebrations have players kind of warping together when gathering. Framerate stutter after crossing the offensive blue line on occasion.
Nothing we can pinpoint a cause for and the stutter is intermittent so could be a lag thing, but the goal celebration animation is every time and happening to all the players on our team.

@nuppijumi Re-reading your post, check your running temperature and make sure your PS5 is horizontal, clean, has plenty of ventilation, and the fan(s) are running properly.

No. NHL 24 is the only game I have problems with.

Not every game has the same demands on a console's hardware. As previously mentioned, is your console in a well ventilated space and free of debris? Have you tried clearing the personal saved data? It's possible you could lose any offline saves and changes to settings. Normally, those will download from the cloud, but I can't guarantee that will happen. Go to Settings/Storage/System. Locate NHL 24 and delete the saved data.

I cleared the personal saved data, but the game is still stuttering. Very frustrating.
