The game needs countless fixes before they can even think of doing that.
(Also, I moved your post into this megathread)
I think it's funny that some people are saying that a hockey sim game could be made by another developer but just isn't. This is so far away from the truth. It is possible, however, in order to make a hockey sim game on any platform with enough support globally there would have to be NHL teams and players. Therefore, there would have to be a licensing agreement with the NHL/NHLPA, which is possible, however that would be stepping on EA's toes. The NHL is not going to risk their partnership with EA falling through because of this. OOTP Developments make Franchise Hockey Manager which is licensed by the NHL, but covers a niche in hockey games that is often overlooked (especially by EA in Franchise mode.) Maybe when the NHL isn't ran by ancient artifacts we will see some improvement.
Seriously. Would it be possible for you to do a basic port for the PC platform? With cross-platform (especially when you open it up completely) this would allow the whole community to play together and increase the number of active players for game modes such as EASHL.
Speaking of crossplatform. How can you separate two versions of generations when they are graphically and gameplay-wise the same thing. It's possible to play COD and many other games with PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PS4 and PS5 players. This would be more than appreciated and necessary for a community that continues to support you despite lesser quality improvements, year after year. Thank you and good day.

- @EA_Aljo so we all know this game can't be on PC ...
You need dedicated servers, a launch platform , anti cheat , anti modification , blah blah blah.
We know once this hits PC everyone's gonna mod the game to their liking.
If this goes to PC , won't be a need for hut year after year, unless EA doesn't allow old versions on their server . Revenue down, that's a no go.
It will end up being someone with real life money, hosting chel, and everyone will abandon EA servers , and play project NHL .
EA will lose money , and they don't know how to protect themselves...
Let's no kid ourselves people. Like not spending $250+ for one game? I don’t want to buy a console I’m only gonna use for one game.
why we dont get it on pc?

I would guess the reasoning would be that PC is infested with cheaters. If they brought it to cross play between console and PC. I wouldn't buy it. Period.
Having it a stand alone though would be nice as I also have a PC.

How so? I would like to have it on PC but every single online game has cheaters. It's not some new thing.
If they had a better be a pro mode. I'd get it on PC for sure. Single player would be my only reason for getting it on PC.

No it's not. Seems like a good reason, although I'm sure it's not the only reason.
PC games require an entirely different support infrastructure. You have to provide consumer support that takes into account the myriad of different hardware and OS configurations. You'll have users running 20+ apps on their windows computer, fire up NHL and then complain it's 'choppy & slow'. Multiply that ad nauseam.
Rather than invest into a PC platform where much of the money is spent propping up support systems, use that money to invest in more dedicated servers in AWS across different geographical areas, improving connection quality across HUt and WoC. Hire more engineers to work on gameplay and features, etc/
