Freeze Bug

Product: NHL 24
Platform:PlayStation 5 Digital Edition
What is your gamertag/PSN ID? Xanguini
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I can send clips and videos of what happens to my game when it does it.
What happens when the bug occurs? It freezes over half of my games as soon as I load in and then kicks me out.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see changes this is unbelievable
Was the issue in online or offline mode? Online
Insert Game Mode or Feature here Hockey Ultimate Team, EASHL, etc...
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) Everytime I play the game
What is your time zone? EST (IET) - GMT - 5:30

I am not able to play half of my HUT games because as soon as I load into a game it freezes and kicks me out. I have been dealing with this for months now and its really annoying. I have tried everything (resetting, rebuilding database, clearing cashe, etc...) and still nothing. I honestly believe there is nothing anyone can do to help but it sucks that I spent a lot of money on this game and I can't even barely play it.

Thanks for reaching out. It's possible this is connection related. Are you on a wired or wireless connection?

Thanks for the response. Do you have the game installed on the internal hard drive or do you use an external drive? Also is it only online modes this happens in?

Its just installed on console storage and yes online modes only.

Can you check your network settings and let me know what it says for the NAT? Also, what happens when it freezes? Does the game just close and send you back to the PS5 dashboard?

NAT is type 2 and when it freezes it kicks me out of games like Rivals and HUT champs and immediately just gives me the loss gives me the screen that I earned 0 rival points and then I can quit from there. Super annoying

This sounds connection related. When you reset your equipment, did you power everything down for a couple minutes or just turn it on and off again?

Something else to try is using alternate DNS settings with the steps here. If you don't see a difference, try the Google DNS servers. Those are: Primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - Secondary alt number 8.8.4.4.

Have you tried deleting the game and reinstalling? If not, do that and let me know what happens.

still same bug
