My Real Last Name Is Offensive

I've always used my last name on NHL games in Wolrd Of Chel. This year when going to create my player I received an error that my last name, "McCarthy" is deemed too offensive to use. Is there a way around this? It feels like a common last name to be able to use, I don't see how that is offensive?
