This is still being investigating. Unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions, but will report back when I do.

Edit: Also, can you try sending the invite? The video you showed earlier looks like the invite is being sent by your friend.

Same issue when I send the bug, just on my friend's end.

Has this been resolved? I'm facing this same issue with my buddy now. Xbox Series X|S version.
