We went back and forth on this throughout last year. I reported this again last week and we have yet to find any issues that would be causing a small part of the playerbase to experience input lag. We're still monitoring this for more reports. I didn't respond due to the high amount of interaction we had on this previously and I didn't have anything new to add.

In case it's not abundantly clear, I started this thread (again) so other people can know they're not alone and that something is drastically wrong. I don't actually expect any EA help. Almost 2 years of queries has numbed me to that possibility. You told me last year they can't repeat it......from Vancouver. As if that means anything. The videos I provide, and the explanations, are what they are. 

I would cry tears of joy if someone with more technical knowledge than a community manager (no offense) contacted me or wanted more specific knowledge I can provide. But that hasn't happened.

We also get very few reports of this. That is what is making it so hard to reproduce. Again, with the virtually infinite combination of equipment and ISPs, it's not something we can reasonably test. Since the high majority of the playerbase is not reporting the same issue and since we can't reproduce it, we can't confirm it's an issue on our end.

I have exactly the same problem as last year. While in the game (like last year) players suddenly became sluggish. Last year the first 2 weeks were like oil, this year the first 2 1/2 weeks too...is that a coincidence? My console is NEW, no other game is installed yet. Just because there aren't 684,000 different accounts reporting this error doesn't mean that this error doesn't exist. Many people probably don't even notice the difference between terrible and good gameplay. If you don't play every day you won't know the difference. I also made 20-25 posts but this year it was the first and last time I'll write here because it's useless.. nothing will ever change.. that was the last game from EA, I'll never do it again Mistake and buy NHL or another sports game from EA, never again... I wrote in German and used the translator

I don’t know why all of you are convinced it’s only an NHL problem. @Vladimir097 you even say yourself that it’s a difficult problem to notice unless you’re on the game constantly. Possibly you’re not noticing similar desync/input problems in other games 

I have this problem too since nhl 20.

My problem currently is that I have a constant 20 ms showing in game for many games in a row, but the delay is different everytime. Sometimes, in the same night, it is unbearable. Then another game, it's barely playable. Another game, it is pretty playable. Then back to unplayable. All that with the same 20 ms. For sure, there are some times that the ping is showing 50 ms but suprisingly, it plays pretty well sometimes.

So, I am wondering if the ping showed in game really reflects the real ping. Also, I believe I played against local players.

Best way I can describe it is it feels like the full pressure meter is full all game long and not only in the defensive zone. 

Now that the pressure meter was added to the game and we have 100% confirmation that EA can’t write it into the code. I wouldn’t be surprised if EA has been using it for to targeted users to try and dup them into thinking their team needed to be upgraded and buying more packs. 

it’s not an ISP issue when literally every other title has no issues
