Is this happening in 25% of your NHL 24 games?

Try deleting the personal saved data for NHL 24. To do that, please follow these steps. There is the risk of losing offline saves and changes to settings you've made. Normally, those download from the cloud, but I can't guarantee this.

Press the Guide button and then highlight the NHL 24 tile.
Hit the Menu button. It's the small one to the right of the Guide button with 3 horizontal lines on it.
Next, go to Manage game and add-ons > Saved data. Delete the file with your gamertag on it.

Fortunately it seems that it randomly fixed last night. Might have something to do with special characters purchased using the coins in the store? Once I removed a special character the problem went away.

Ahh yes. Those dang special characters! I forgot about that. They have been known to cause problems. The same goes for custom gamerpics for Xbox players. Appreciate the update on this. I'll keep it in mind in the future. If you have any other issues, please reach out again. Thanks!
