For whatever reason you have to glide to take a slapshot this year. It’s super frustrating, especially when I’m trying to clear it on a pk, if you don’t completely let off the left stick it won’t do it. And it’s awful.
I was starting to think the same thing but if you go into free skate mode, the slapshot works with no problem, just like always. But in a game, 9 times out of 10 when you go to windup with the slapshot it just puts the puck on the skaters backhand.

it happens to me only during matches. In training mode slapshots work as expected.
- @6ff1e391a9d36bf7 100% having the exact same issue, appears to only happen for me while playing in WOC. Working absolutely fine in practice mode but NOT in WOC.
