AI Auto-Change User Player

I can’t image I am the only one bothered by this. 

Why does it change who I am controlling automatically? I will be on the back check or just skating towards an opposing player in general. And just as I get close enough to make a defensive play. One of the AI players skates near the player with the puck and then it automatically changes me to that player. 

This Causes penalties and/or just making me skate out of the opposing players way. For example if I am back checking and trailing the opposing puck carrier… it will auto select a player in front of him and since I am moving in one direction; once it switches I will have that player in the slot and skate up towards the blue line giving the entire slot to that carrier.

Hopefully that makes sense and I am not the only one experiencing this. If there’s a way to turn that off. Let me know 👍
