Can we please have access to previous tuner sets?

I'm really not enjoying the latest tuner that came out with the 4 nations update. AI is out of control, hustling everywhere, can't settle down to cycle or do a proper power play. This would be difficult to prove via video. However, I really enjoyed how the game played in the beta and on release. If I could simply roll back to one of the first sets I'd be satisfied. As it is we can only select "latest" and "v1.00". Which feels a bit redundant as they're the same thing. Please consider this change EA.

Hi there. There has only been one tuner update. This was with the 1.3.0 patch:

    • Reduced Accuracy bonus from successfully performed Skill Based One-Timers
    • Be a Pro bench recovery increased

Are those the issues you specifically want to revert? If not, there's really nothing to go back to.

Ah, apologies, I was referring to the 1.4.0 patch. When we download these in the game it refers to the game version being updated and I always see this being referred to as a "tuner" by the community. I was thinking we could choose from different versions in the slider screen and it'd be an easy fix. I've heard it used to have older versions included instead of just "latest" and "v1.00". If there was a way to rollback the game to previous patches I guess that's what I'm looking for. Almost like on steam where you can rollback to earlier versions of some games on the beta tab.

Tuners and patches are different. Tuners are basically gameplay sliders whereas patches are game updates that require code changes. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to go back to an old patch.

What is it that you want back with an older patch?

So there were two tweaks to AI in the 1.4.0 patch. The check/shove decision making change I think is working fine. However, the one regarding "Improved AI decision-making when covering the puck carrier or transitioning up the ice, reducing instances of gliding instead of giving effort." I think has had adverse/unintended effects.

Difficult to pinpoint but it seems like I'm seeing the "hustle" animation way more often than usual and the CPU is having difficulty slowing down enough in the zone on offense to properly cycle the puck and do other plays. Off the rush is working great, but beyond that they're too frantic. The powerplay is a good example, since the patch I have not seen the CPU able to set up and cycle the puck for a proper goal. They're just moving too fast, putting themselves in a bad position or facing the wrong direction, instead of gliding into a better position facing the net. At least, when I look at gameplay from October compared to now, that is what it feels like to me. There was more gliding, trailing, slower/subtle plays being made, more congestion in the neutral zone. Now it seems like excessive hustling or full speed skating, and lots of throwing the puck to models who receive it behind them and are out of position.

Obviously the change shouldn't have affected all that, but it's undeniable that something is off since 1.4.0.

Would you be able to get some video of this? I'll pass it on to the team for review. If you can, publish it through your console or put it up on YouTube so it can be streamed. Thanks!
