Even if its a dangerous call the CPU goalie need to give tu puck when we call him the puck. This would allow for a better pace of the game and the games would be much shorter and quicker. Example its 10-3 in 3rd period its clearly a win right? And you want the game to end as quickly as possible. And the goalie keep froze the puck while we call it its pretty tiring and annoying. This would be a great addition to the game.
I'd tend to agree that the game should do what the player tells it to. Calling for a pass from the AI or the goalie should result in a pass, even if it's not a good idea.
On flip side, I feel like calling for a pass from the goalie when he's surrounded by offensive players should result in the pass being picked off much more often than it currently is.
As much as it annoys me having the cpu deliberately refuse what its human master commands of it, I gotta say, it's saved my team tons of goals from my buddy doing it as a joke.
At the end of the day though, it should all be on us to decide how plays happen, good or bad
