please explain to me why in world of chel we can't use all the zone abilities superstar abilities like Wheels and Elite edges ... why is it you can only use a guy that you guys created ??
Balance. When you have these OP character ability boosts, you need to balance them for gameplay. I know it's not the answer you're looking for, but there's a reason for this and it's solely for keeping players from abusing these things for an advantage in-game.
And for the love of God why is there woodchucks and Aliens in the game its no wonder more people don't love the sport of hockey.. you guys make a mockery of it ..
The game is trying to appeal to a broad audience. This means that sometimes things will be added to the game you might not like. You can't expect games to always align with your particular idea of how the sport should be represented.
You're also able to completely ignore the characters you don't like. you're not forced to use them. You don't see them often in WoC Club Games. It's honestly just a small feature designed for some users to get some fun out of the game. God forbid.
why is the computer player so slow and incapable of playing his position like he's lost out there .

why does it seem like your Skater is stuck in the ice ?? I've played hockey since I was 2 years old and hockey players don't get stuck in the ice like there guy can't move or avoid hits .
Your personal hockey experience is irrelevant. This is a videogame. If you're getting the feeling your player is 'stuck in ice' - try taking better routes that don't involve your player having to shift their body weight on opposing directions so often. People often claim they're 'stuck in the mud' but then you see a clip of them skating, and they're constantly stop-starting, instructing their player to move in the opposite direction of where they're skating and generally executing skating patterns that don't generate speed. Many people who've played hockey for years understand this very fundamental aspect of player movement and EA has captured it so well that those who don't, pay the price.
why is it if you create a guy that's 6'1 194lbs or 200lbs like McDavid McKinnon they skate slow as crap ... but yet those are the 2 fastest players in the league ..
McDavid and Mckinnon don't get all of their speed and acceleration from their height and weight. There's far more involved in skating ability and I'm sure as someone who claims to have played hockey since the age of 2, you'd know that.

It's unrealistic for a small bodied player to be knocked around? I would assume, as someone who's played hockey since the age of 2, you'd know that most smaller players tend to get knocked off the puck more often when playing against players who, on average, are much bigger than them.
That's not me saying that there's never been a small guy that's been hard to knock off the puck. However, in the context of creating a player build in a virtual environment that's designed to be realistic - you have to balance the speed/agility of a small player with their vulnerability with puck possession. That's part of the game - playing in ways that accentuate your player builds' skills and abilities while also navigating their shortfalls.
like when have you ever went to a hockey game and heard (emu music) it's like you guys don't know that there are songs that are played at hockey games .. none of the music I've never heard at a hockey I've went to ..
The ditties in-between whistles are mostly generic due to licensing restraints I'm sure. I think many people would like to see the licensed in-game music also be used creatively for in-between whistles, but I'm sure there are restrictions in how the songs they've licensed can be presented and I'm sure editing those tracks to fit a post-whistle sequence may be one of those restrictions.
That being said, there's plenty of organ songs played between plays and the generic music does tend to fit the atmosphere pretty well. It's not perfect and like I said, licensed music would be great, but it is what it is. Custom music was the holy grail, but those days are long gone.
I'm not going to say NBA2K is perfect but at the same time I feel like they at least try ... so much detail in the stats ... the arena to the the announcers .. they even go as far as having the announcers that are from each arena ..
2K does a fantastic job in the presentation department.
please at least let us build our guys the way we want not some generated guy you guys made up ... not everything in this world is fair ... some people are just better some people like McDavid McKinnon Larkin Necas Makar are just faster .
You can't just create a character to be dominant. YOU have to develop the in-game skills to be dominant. It's not just going to be handed to you.
in world of Chel the more points you have you get some kind of points to upgrade upper player each time to your liking ... the way you guys do it makes no sense it's like saying McDavid is only allowed to be fast ... he can't have good stick handling or deking skills or amazing passing skills
You're not considering balance. In offline Be A Pro- go nuts - make your guys as OP as you want so you can get satisfaction from being the best in the world in you offline modes.
In online modes, everyone would just make their players like McDavid and you'd just have a bunch of OP players. There'd be no balance and it would be awful, generic experience with no parity between players and essentially making the game out to be one that's based entirely on chance and bounces, rather than skill.
tell me when the last time one of you was playing hockey and your puck hog buddy starts hogging the puck all the players lose energy it's just so unrealistic if he's not passing the puck and I'm standing still watching him why the Heck would I be tired ...
Again, this is a videogame. Because a LOT of people who play this take it far too seriously, things need to be done to prevent players from puck ragging. One of those things was having the team lose energy if someone is just hot-dogging around with the puck in their own zone to kill time. Again, this is a balancing feature meant to ensure people who have a knack for abusing in-game mechanics to win at all costs face some kind of consequences for being a crappy player.
I see your one of those people that wasn't good at sports so your way of fixing it is making everything even playing field ... newsflash bud not everything in life is fair ... instead of making a new game every season you guys should just add the 2 dumb updates in a patch that you do every new game 😂😂 what a joke
You answered every single thing I said with exactly how you want the game to be to YOUR liking.. nobody else's opinions or thoughts matter ... and thats exactly why this game will continue to go down the tube's and suck... what's the point of you running this forum if you don't listen to what people have to say to try to make this game better ...

Oh not at all. Many have come before you expressing disdain over the game not catering to their specific vision of what hockey should look like when virtualized including the assertion the people creating the game "have never played hockey in their life". This is quite a common take from those unhappy with their purchase.

I was okay at sports. Played hockey through high school and still play senior men's hockey a few nights a week. Your quote, "not everything in life is fair" is a great one because it can be applied to your core complaints about the game which appears to be "why can't I dominate everyone like McDavid whenever I want to". Because in order to be dominant, you need more than OP attributes, abilities and x-factors. You need the skills on the gamepad as well. That's where life's unfairness confronts your desire to be McDavid in NHL 25: If you're not willing to put the work in to obtain the skills, why should it just be handed to you? Also, I don't have any involvement in the development of this game.

There's a ton of feedback that gets listened to here. Lots of interaction from community managers and people who are passionate about this game. Formulate your feedback better and take the time to tactfully express your gripes with the current state of the game.
Dude all I really asked was why we can't make a guy with Elite edges and Wheels?? the way we want to not some guys you guys made up ... yes your game has faults...I don't expect it to be perfect your right is a video game ... this wasn't an attack against you unless you created this video game yourself ?? I just expect every year for it to be way better then the past years and it never is ... go over to Instagram and see that I'm not the only person that **bleep** about this game ... even the guys you have help build this game in the past complain about it ... Nasher, Trew Crew, Cam Halbert.. I can go on and on ... you act as if I'm asking for every attribute to be 99 overall ... its like you guys all for feedback but you don't want to hear it ... and that is why I said this game will always be medicore and stay medicore you have no intentions on fixing anything unless you guys see it being for to your liking ...
