I traded cards for the 4 nations event in the wrong set. I put 3 88 overalls… 2 of them were the 88 sam Bennett and I think the other was the 88 Noah hanifin into the the pack to get one 88.
I worked so hard to get those 88’s and was trying to help my daughter with something and wasn’t paying attention. There has to be a way to get them back. I know they used to send the cards back into your unopened packs or item inbox after they looked into it and saw the mistake.
NHL doesn't work the same way Fifa/FC does so while I can suggest contacting an EA Help Agent, I reckon your chances are slim to none getting em back

I did the same mistake with my 4 nations upgrade able player Boldy and used the auto fill click fast on complete set and seen out the corner of my eye my player. The result was told we here are not replacing it so say good bye to who you lost I know it sucks. EA don’t make mistakes sorry Your XP path and hut mode blows chunks. What is the point in hut to having season and monthly standings for there is no rewards its a useless feature lol
Community ManagerThey don't replace accidental set submissions for FC either. There is a confirmation before submitting as well.
If you’re trading in for an 88 they should cap it at 87. Problem solved. Unless you manually put it in.

How would capping the overall ruin autofill even more? It's exactly what EA did with TOTY sets, and yeah it wasn't the best possible solution, but I don't see how it would make things worse than they are now for autofill.
It’s so repetitive it’s easy to get lost in the shuffle. But yes the cap they did with TOTY helped a lot
