Clicked wrong set

I traded cards for the 4 nations event in the wrong set. I put 3 88 overalls… 2 of them were the 88 sam Bennett and I think the other was the 88 Noah hanifin into the the pack to get one 88.

I  worked so hard to get those 88’s and  was trying to help my daughter with something and wasn’t paying attention. There has to be a way to get them back. I know they used to send the cards back into your unopened packs or item inbox after they looked into it and saw the mistake.

Yes. The autofill took 3 88s and by the time I realized it it was done. That’s what happens when you’re sitting there’s trying to make all these sets that are so repetitive.

The problem comes if people wanna use a slightly higher ovr in those sets, we'd need to manually do it and waste more time.

I'm pretty sure we wouldn't be able to do it at all in that case, because the sets would only accept 2 exact overalls regardless of whether we try to fill it automatically or manually. And that's why it isn't a perfect solution. But at the same time it's a solution for making it easier to manually add player to sets rather than an actual solution to the autofill issue, and it doesn't really change anything for autofill, so I don't think it would "ruin autofill even more".

Yeah…. But why would you put an 88 in a set for another 88? The amount of people wanting to do that would be minimal.

Yeah that is of course also true. I just think the best solution would be to let us change the maximum overall in the search filters when manually adding cards to a set from our collection. It would improve the filtering similarly to what EA did with TOTY sets, but it would give us more freedom to decide what cards we want to put in a set. But yeah it's true that it doesn't make much sense to put a card in a set for another card of the same overall.

What they did for TOTY helped. And if you manually put in a higher overall than what was required it worked.

  • If I have a double or, say, a player with the wrong hand I want to replace, shouldn't we still be able to sacrifice a higher rated player anyway?

So are you saying that you were able to manually add for example 85 overall cards to a set that required 83-84 overall cards? I don't believe it worked like that.

Yes it did. Just when you did the auto fill it only selected 83 and 84s.

Ok, I didn't know that. Were you able to adjust the overall search filter (it was 83-84 by default and it can't normally be adjusted when filling a set) or how were you able to add the higher overall cards to the set?
