Early Access Feedback Thread
Would like to hear everyone's first impressions so far. I've only been on for like 5 minutes but have noticed some stuff worth mentioning. Main menu - It doesn't necessarily hurt the game but...

More things I've noticed:
- LD has a tendency to come over to my side (position lock as RD). It's not as much as years past, but still there..
- The face-off flashing colored circle and spinning team logos need to go. I don't even recall seeing that in a real NHL game. It's distracting to have a huge bright colored light covering the faceoff with moving logos. Very arcade.
- Just like last year, goal celebration cinematics don't match the designated celebration of the player. It's very arcade.
- If you happen to get the national anthem cutscene, you can barely hear it even with volume up.
I just don't think EA listens to the community anymore. Pressure system is still there, no one ever requested this and if you watch a real NHL game, they don't give up if a few shots are taken against them.. For years, the NHL has had a 3.v3 All Star Game trny Where is it in this game? Non-existent, again. We have "Three's" which again, no one asked for. WHY would you not have presentation aspect when that was the huge issue discussed last year, and didn't EA say they were going to focus on that for this year? Putting the scoreboard in the upper left does not quality as a presentation update.
This was the year EA could have made up for the past mess ups of this series and fixed all the issues and missing features. Instead, they took an old dirty car to the carwash, rinsed it, and called it new.
I don't understand where the problem is with the flashing lights on the ice. it's definitely not arcade, you've probably seen a few NHL games, it's common for lights on the ice to flash when the game is interrupted or before a throw-in. I enjoy these lights when there is no proper Intro before the game Well, at least that's how I feel like I'm in the hockey arena
Here's the problem: If you or your opponent are playing as the Dallas Stars (or some other select teams), the pre-faceoff light-show makes it VERY hard to see what's happening to win the faceoff. It's very jarring and should be tuned down.
Again, this only happens with the Stars and couple of other teams I'm forgetting..
Hello, I know that the Dallas Stars or even Tampa Bay have it too much in the center of the throw-in, it is necessary to move it a little, I agree with that. The others are fine
Haha I think I remember having that problem in 24. I just assumed I was terrible with the faceoff and just would be ready to intentionally lose it
Nah, man. I have 69% faceoffs in online versus and it still absolutely bothers me.
It blows my mind that this wasn't addressed in the least. Just make the animation less seizure inducing. That's all that needs to happen.
