This has absolutely nothing to do with the matchmaking. We’ve played this game for over a decade and I understand the concept of players ranking up but not everyone is good enough to win 80% of games to be diamond or fire. We’re in the lowest division and matching the highest players 90% of the time.

Community ManagerMismatched clubs facing each other is completely matchmaking. The ranks of the other players is not part of it. If it were, there would be less lopsided matchups at the expense of longer waits. You're not the first to request this. We're aware of it and it's possible this could change in the future.
