I just wanted to take a moment to congratulate the EA NHL dev team for really going all out to make the goalies in NHL 25 the best they possibly can be.
You're trying your absolute hardest, EA. And, boy, does it show!

They are the absolute worst. They go out of their way every year to tool and tune the offense and just leave the goalies to deal with the onslaught.
Im a long time goalie in the series and my team plays 3s. I know the nature of EASHL ands 3s is alot of goals. In the past having a save p[ercentage of .650 or higher is the baseline for a 'decent' not great but decent goalie. But now I see alot of good goalies that are under that and closer to .500 because of the emphasis on offense. Not to mention no more 'match my goalie' means you play cross crease spamming teams with a compy goalie making it extremely difficult to win. Exploiters are sticking around, but the teams like mine together for 9 years to play fair and fun aren't sticking around

The goalies in NHL 25 may be the absolute worst we've ever had in this franchise. These goalies are getting beat on simple, harmless, unscreened wristers from distance while they have full or nearly full energy. This is absolutely unacceptable.
EA_Aljothis needs to be addressed.

I will say I’m an elite G and it’s all I play. Last night was the worst game I’ve had. I would get sniped even hugging the post and many trickle-in goals. The attributes of the shooter are overpowered. When they are shooting I can’t move while they have been active to shoot which is unfair. The sliding effect for Butterfly once you go into Butterfly is overpowered! The goalie catches the puck behind the g line which is a goal and that’s unfair. Also unfair is there are no inference calls anymore so the goal counts. As well as my leg or glove gets stuck inside the net. All these things are causing me not to be the top G I am. The instinct doesn’t work it’s useless just as a sponge.
I shouldn’t be getting sniped on the post when I’m there and in a saving position and the puck going under my arm is bs. This needs to be fixed! My save percentage is .720 overall but .800 for the month. It’s should be higher overall and it has not moved and I have more wins, shut outs, and puck saves than against me.
