I don't understand what happened. I'm not sure if it was the surge of pay to play model or just lack of consideration for the fans. All of your games get progressively worse year over year. It's like your in a meeting and say hey give them nothing good, and charge them more. It's so sad. 

I have played this title since 94. I have bought every version, mainly deluxe too. Over the last 10 years, it's gotten progressively more frustrating. The game was more fun 10 years ago. 

Where to start. Let's begin with Chel. My favorite mode other than franchise. Chel lobbies are insane. The time it takes to get a game nuts. There are 20,000 on but you can't catch a game for 20 minutes. The games feel pre determined and being away is just terrible. There's no reality feel to it and clubs against pond are two different games. The absurd bounces, the penalties and the fact you can't report trolls who pull goalies and turn it over on purpose is just silly. Get in a game to get your teammate to score on you is so fun. There's less customization than last year. If you can report players, let us report clubs. I want my own logos. Let me really customize.

Let's get some broadcast about the players. AI is out and you can easily create a narrative. Using the player name or PSN to say things like this guy/gal has been on a tear or he has been slumping. He/she has played marvelous over their last 5. Take it further and talk about two players really clicking. These 2 have 29 points over 8 games. The last time these teams met up player blah had this many or these guys played well. Other teams gonna have to watch this. Give us scouting or in between period keys to winning. Thoughts on how losing team can improve. Call out players that are having tough games.  Make the broadcasts more real. Also I want to highlight passing and checking. The player of the period shouldn't be for 11 hits, but for the one that changed the game. If I threw a dope stretch pass that should be the play not the guy who scored it cause of close quarters. I want play of period not player. Goalies get no love either unless it's a spectacular save. What is one. Just a glove flick. If you stop 5 in a row show the whole sequence.

Also it's 2025 sponsor with Spotify, give us an opening week play lis with new songs and spit new NHL music every week. That would keep it so fresh. Let's us put our own goal songs, goal horns,pp songs etc....why does one dude content creator get his logo but I can't. Same with faces. You had real faces in NBA live 15. Other games have face capture. It's 2025. Bring it back. I want my player to look like me. 

Get rid of the superstar qualities or let us build our own. The passing in this game is broken but maybe give players a skill tree. One of my builds has 99 passing but can't hit the guy 2 feet away. Build the skills around the type of play and give chemistry to players with like skills. If you play an overload style and I play behind the net, we would have low chemistry. The abilities are great if you have a certain few. The others are useless. Some are overly useful almost clownish.

The grudge match is silly, it gives a boost to a player but not a team. It means nothing. Bye bye. If your away team, why even play. Home teams are almost always given the W. There's exceptions but it's noticibably different. And when you get in games you will play 10 road games in a row. There's no rhyme or reason. Create divisions and standings. You have enough teams make it more like a league. Give us the option to create Chel leagues with 4 lines and stats. That's almost connected franchise style but with 27 on the team. Sick.....

The pressure is broken and the skating endurance is terrible. The getting up from hits when not injured is ridiculous. I get hit on offense they go down put it on net and around the boards then it comes out and I'm still offside. Fix offsides. Playing at the blue is garbage. You will clearly be on and have it called. You will be clearly off by 5 feet and not call it. Same with icing. Make icing more real. They call off moat icing now a'days . Most play is waved off unless egregious. 

The skating and graphics are improved but there are still insane animations and the hip checks are ridiculous. They're fun but unrealistic and you just stick your but out and a guy goes down immediately on a weird angle. He may have hipped me but it wouldn't cause me to just crumble. You should be able to take some of those weird angle ones without folding like it's texas holder.

Fix the defense. Having two players cover the middle and guy getting between both is silly. The back skate is nuts. The goalie animations are other worlds. Just bad. D and goal have no.love in this game and get the brunt of the criticism from teammates. I stopped playing goal for that reason. The butterfly is insane you move 10 feet sometimes. The 5 holes are dumb and the post to post is laughable. You have things covered and it goes though your chest. You block it and it's a goal anyway. So unrealistic and sad.

I'll finish this rant with Be Better. It's 2025 and the 2010 version was better than this. Give us a break. Maybe take 2 or 3 to develop and give us a real game. Not this copy paste trash that needs 30 patches year.  Or give us two games Chel/ Franchise and HUT/VS's. This clearly ain't working. Be better EA. I look forward to what trash you give us next year.
