Yeah, I've been hip checked so many times well after getting rid of the puck with no call. Also, I feel like snipers should not be allowed to use truculence. If you wanna play small there's certain things you should not be able to do and destroying someone with a hit is one of them.
A solution to the small players having truculence could be to add a weight requirement instead of just attributes. Essentially it would lower the maximum skating of players using truculence. 200lbs to use it seems reasonable.
Better solution: remove Truculence from the game.
Truculence has been an issue since it's inception. It tracks puck carriers into the hit and basically freezes you so you can't move regardless of your inputs, it appears to make your contact detection box about three times as big because they'll completely whiff minus clipping a loose thread on your jersey to knock you over. It's basically carried bad defenders for years.
