HUT 87 goaltending?

How often is that goal going on? Can you go into practice mode and score it with a high percentage? Also, goalies are your last line of defense. If this is frequently getting scored on you, it would be good to take control of your D and cover the short side better. In your video, it looks like your opponent had a step on you and easily got this shot off. That doesn't mean it should get scored on every time of course. So, if you think it's an issue with the game, get some unedited video showing it going in at a high rate.

It's best to put clips up on YouTube or published through your console so they can be streamed. Then you don't have to deal with the low file size allowed here.

This is exactly why I say we need a 2nd community manager that plays HUT. You wouldn't even question the OP clip like you did if you had maybe 3 hours of experience on HUT. Why do you think 6ft7 silver goalies outplay an 87 6ft1 goalie? It's literally been a thing for at least 6 years on HUT and you are going to question his defense when he brings up a known issue in the HUT community??? 

If the defense covers the short side it leaves a one timer open instead, which is the easiest way to score in this game. And regardless of having a step, that’s a basic save for a goalie of any level. That’s not a reasonable response. I’ll start downloading clips for you because goalie gave up three goals that were infuriating. Defense can’t block every shot.

every game, bad goals. And I don’t want to be told it’s because of my defense or pressure system because when I have full pressure I rarely if ever get these sort of bad goals. So bad I need to find another goalie, which is insane given what’s required to get this card

You can't use a short goalie in NHL. It has to be 6ft5 and up. Every HUT you can use some 6ft8 silver goalie till the end of the year. It's pathetic and it's never been addressed. That's why it's frustrating to hear our community manager reply back to a well known community issue like its somehow the result of ur poor defense. The minute an opponent sees you have a short goalie you are getting spammed with short side shots.

Considering the defense is dead in the game this year the only way we can defend is sit back and wait for them to stop spinning in circles and shoot because if you bring your guy out to take the body from the puck it's an easy tap in most of the time.

Can any of you tell me why the passing button(R2 on ps5) gets so stiff when players are low on stamina and if you can turn it of. Stamina goes down so fast aswell 

Hut squad battles goalies and team’s brutal 

The goalies are brutal in this game Hut CPU  3 goals 4 shots or 1 goal 1 shot. 2 goals 2 shots. 3 shots 3 goals end of game 6 shots total 3 goals fix the goalies fix the game same layout every year you took sea the quality of life when you changed hut mode please tell me how you think it’s fair to expect people to play 999 plus games in a season we want our HUT squad battles BACK TO OLD WAY 38 games a week and back weekly winner who ever thinks this new hit is fun it’s not listen to the people who pay your wages EVERYONE WANTS WEEKLY HUT SQUAD BATTLES NOT THIS SEASON TRASH. 

The highest human team I faced in Hut has been 84. Why does  EA’s CPU Hut teams repeat over and over. I see in Hut teams 85,86,87 and 88’s but I played 300 games vs cpu human teams and not one team over 84 now all I got to play is EA’S CPU hut team's every reset of teams FLO and highest is Flo 83 I face.

All this  game is Spinning in circles waiting for the green bullseye to light up for these so called skil based one  timers that take zero absolutely zero skill to take ,and as for the goalies they are horrible, and mind you they guy who developed this game supposably plays goalie 

I quit playing in November. There is only so much cheesy spinning in a circle I can take. This game is literally puck ragg as much as you can in the opponent's zone. When I won I never felt like I deserve it because of someone awful goal animation or me having 15min TOA of puck ragging One Tee shots. I hate Playing like a rat but you had to in this NHL to win because they apparently forgot to give us any defensive tools to stop this toxic META form of offense. Terrible HUT rewards concept that never kept you engaged. Watching the global competition will be hilarious this year though!

It's NHL 25 but you can load up NHL 09 and get a more realistic hockey experience.... Let that sink in.

Hi there. Can you give me more detail on what you mean by passing getting stiff? Attribute ratings drop when stamina is low so passes should be less accurate.

Stamina drops for various reasons. Hustling, getting hit, being on the PK and having full pressure against you will help it drop faster.
